Management promotes from within (when possible) before looking outside the company – from laborer to strawboss to foreman to superintendent. Promotion is based on attendance, experience, initiative, and desire for advancement. Daily, weekly, monthly on the job training is provided – exposing employees to experiences outside their normal duties. |
